Joel Huloux, ST-Ericsson
As Chairman, Joel leads the Board and its general management of the Alliance. He is responsible for facilitating the final adoption of all MIPI specifications, directing the efforts of all working groups, and identifying new initiatives.
In his role as Director, Standardization and Industry Alliances for ST-Ericsson, Joel develops and drives the company’s standardization strategy for electronics and embedded systems technology. With 26 years of experience in the telecom and microelectronics field, he is a recognized leader in numerous technical standards bodies and industry alliances.

He is married with two children and is an avid golfer and skier.
