Sanjiv Desai is a Senior Staff Platform Architect in the Ultra Mobility Group at Intel Corporation. He is leading platform architecture of Intel’s next generation Smart Phone platforms. Sanjiv has over 28 years of industry experience and has held various architecture and engineering management positions in the areas of CPU, Chipset, and System design and development. As Intel’s Mobile systems and Wireless Architecture manger, he led the architecture and development of Intel’s first Centrino™ notebook platform. He has led several engineering teams at Intel to deliver a portfolio of Notebook Platform Chipsets and Components including Intel’s first integrated CPUs for notebook platforms. Previously Sanjiv has held several engineering positions with National Semiconductor, and American Microsystems Inc (Gould).

Sanjiv holds an Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from M.S. University (India).
