Marketing Working Group

The Marketing Working Group is dedicated to promoting MIPI Alliance specifications and the organization’s role in advancing mobile device interface technology. In addition, the Marketing Working Group serves the more than 180 member companies through numerous value-add opportunities:

• Brand management – Provide guidance and direction on the use of MIPI Alliance brand footprint
• Event marketing – Exhibit presence at leading industry tradeshows, sponsorships at key conferences, and quarterly face-to-face Alliance events
• Public relations – Editor and analyst relations, press releases, contributed articles and speaking opportunities for MIPI Alliance, and support for all member public relations activities
• Marketing communications – Organization collateral, webinars and robust website
• Social media – Active promotions on LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
• Alliance growth – Targeted outreach to increase MIPI Alliance membership
• Co-Marketing – Build mutually beneficial alliances with other supporting and complimentary industry organizations
 

The working group is comprised of product and marketing experts. Chartered by the Board of Directors in 2008, the group offers insight across the entire mobile device ecosystem, including semiconductor companies, IP providers, software vendors, peripheral manufacturers, test labs and end product OEMs.

The Marketing Working Group is launching targeted marketing activities for each of the Alliance working groups. These efforts are designed to increase awareness for the group’s specifications and impact on their area of technology. Planning is also underway for several events in 2011.
