Recent MIPI DevCon in Taipei | Sessions and Highlights

MIPI Alliance held its fifth developers conference on 18 October in Taipei, drawing nearly 200 participants to hear presentations from MIPI working group leaders and technical experts, tour member demos and interact with other developers and implementers of MIPI specifications.


Post-Event Resources

Setting the stage for a full day of technical presentations, Simon Teng of MediaTek kicked off the event with his keynote address, "Technologies for Automated Driving," followed by an update on the state of the Alliance from Peter Lefkin, MIPI managing director.  Additional presentations focused on trends in the mobile and mobile-influenced industries, features available in the upcoming MIPI I3C v1.1 and MIPI A-PHYSM, RFFE enhancements for 5G use cases, display and camera applications, testing challenges and solutions, and more.

In addition to the education sessions, 14 member demos showcased MIPI solutions and offered attendees the opportunity to ask questions and share information with their peers.

We look forward to bringing more developer education to Osaka, Japan, at next year's MIPI DevCon on 23 October. Registration and participation opportunities will open in January 2020.
