22-24 September 2026 | Anaheim, Calif.

The third edition of the embedded world North America Exhibition & Conference will take place 22-24 September 2026, in Anaheim, Calif., a premier event for the embedded systems industry, connecting researchers, developers, industry and academia from all disciplines of the embedded world.

Call for MIPI Submissions

MIPI Alliance, in collaboration with the embedded world Conference, is calling for session proposals focusing on MIPI specifications that enable key functionality within embedded applications. Submit a proposal for the North America event by 17 April (please select the topic "10.6 MIPI Alliance"). Authors will be notified ahead of the program announcement in mid-May.

Submissions should focus on the benefits and uses of MIPI interfaces and protocols in application areas such as industrial, consumer electronics, robotics, drones and automotive. Topics of particular interest include:

  • Use of MIPI CSI-2® to achieve optimal image quality for machine vision, AI, and other camera applications
  • Use of MIPI Camera Security Framework to protect imaging applications.
  • Advantages of MIPI I3C® over traditional serial interfaces for data acquisition and control applications\
  • Use of MIPI A-PHY®, C-PHY™ or D-PHY™ interfaces to enable high-speed, low-power, low-EMI applications.
  • Use of MIPI audio interfaces
  • Use of MIPI interfaces to enable JEDEC UFS flash memory solutions
  • Use of MIPI specifications to support ADAS, ADS and IVI applications in emerging automotive architectures
  • Advantages of MIPI DSI-2™ and its use of VESA compression within embedded display systems
  • Use of MIPI debug/trace specifications to accelerate product development

Other proposals regarding additional applications, use cases and case studies illustrating use of MIPI specifications in embedded designs are welcome.

If you have any questions about your proposed topic or the submission process, contact Sharmion Kerley, MIPI director of marketing and membership, or Ian Smith, MIPI technical marketing consultant.
