MIPI recorded strong membership growth in the third quarter, welcoming 15 new Adopter members and one new Contributor from 1 July to 30 September 2026. We look forward to working with these companies as they join the nearly 400 members worldwide developing and implementing MIPI specifications in mobile and other connected ecosystems.
With its membership upgrade, AlpsenTek GmbH representatives can now join MIPI working groups and subgroups to participate in the development of specifications and technical resources. Contributor membership also enables representatives to attend MIPI Alliance member meetings.
These new Adopter members have access to the complete library of MIPI specifications and supporting resources, as well as draft specifications during the final stage of the adoption process. They'll also have the opportunity to attend MIPI interoperability workshops and participate in MIPI interest groups and Birds of a Feather Groups (BoF) groups such as the new Physical AI BoF and Die-to-Die BoF.
If your company is currently an Adopter member of MIPI Alliance and interested in contributing to specification development and working group discussions, consider participating in the MIPI Alliance Contributor Trial Membership Program. The next three-month Contributor trial period will begin on 1 February, allowing participants to join working groups, provide inputs into working group activities and attend MIPI Alliance Member Meeting #74, 1-5 March in San Francisco, Calif.
