Win Maung is a principal system architect and a distinguished member of the technical staff at Texas Instruments Incorporated. Since joining TI in 1993, he has become an expert in developing products and standards, ranging from RS-232, RS-485, SCSI and LVDS, to USB, 1394, PCIe, USBC and eUSB2.
Throughout his tenure, his innovations have enabled many iconic customer solutions across all industries. He has led and trained various engineering teams, including product, test, validation, application, software, design and system teams.
Win has decades of experience developing various high-speed interface standards with IEEE, USB-IF, VESA, MIPI and SAE. He received an IEEE award for outstanding contribution to IEEE 1394.
Win holds more than 20 patents and a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Southern Methodist University.
